Video Information

In this short lecture, Dr Edwin Su (US) discusses what it means to restore normality following total joint arthroplasty. In highlighting what normality means to different patients, Dr Su outlines the kinematic and gait data used to measure success, before drawing comparisons between hip and knee arthroplasty and the use of objective assessments. In conclusion, Dr Su considers the importance and quality of Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs), different PROM designs and the ‘forgotten joint’ score.
